Cruising without the guesswork
The cruise line matters. The ship matters more.
Two ships from the same cruise line can deliver very different vacations. We compare the line, ship, itinerary, departure port, cabin and total trip cost so you are choosing the right cruise—not just the loudest sale.
Start with your vacation style
What kind of cruiser are you?
You do not need to know a ship class or cabin category yet. Start with the experience you want and we will narrow the fleet from there.
Family memory makers
Strong kids’ spaces, entertainment everyone can enjoy and enough variety to keep three generations happy.
Ship-is-the-destination crews
Big attractions, active days, major productions and a ship with more to do than one sailing can cover.
Adults who want a vacation
Good food, nightlife, wellness, fewer kid-focused spaces and no pressure to follow a rigid schedule.
Value-focused fun seekers
A casual atmosphere, convenient departures and a vacation that leaves some money for the ports.
Five lines. Five personalities.
Find your best cruise-line match
There is no universal “best” cruise line. There is only the one that fits your people, your budget and the vacation mood you are trying to create.

Quick answers
Cruise planning FAQ
The questions that show up somewhere between “Let’s take a cruise” and opening 19 browser tabs.
Which cruise line is best for my family?
It depends on the ages, activity level, budget and type of vacation you want. The ship and itinerary can matter as much as the cruise-line name.
How far in advance should I book?
Book early when you need a specific cabin, connecting rooms, holiday dates or a popular itinerary. Flexible travelers may find later offers, but cabin choice usually narrows.
Do I need a passport?
Document requirements depend on the itinerary, citizenship and type of sailing. A passport is often the safest and most flexible option. We will direct you to the cruise line and government requirements for your trip.
Should I arrive the day before the cruise?
For flights, yes—we strongly prefer a pre-cruise hotel night. Weather, delays and missed connections do not care that the ship leaves at 4:00.
Does using a travel advisor cost extra?
Our cruise-planning help is complimentary when you book your eligible sailing through Dudes Doing Dis.
